Welcome to Me Old Vintage China, where we bring a touch of elegance and nostalgia to your special occasions. Based in the coastal town of Herne Bay, we specialise in catering services that celebrate the charm of vintage china and special dining experiences. Whether you're planning a Wedding, Hen Party, Milestone Birthday Party or Afternoon Tea with the gang, we are dedicated to making your gathering memorable. Our aim is to provide not just food, but an lovely experience that delights your guests and leaves a lasting impression. With a focus on quality, creativity, and attention to detail, your event is in safe hands.
SO HOW DOES IT WORK?
Afternoon Tea:
You can choose between individual table layouts or a Buffet Service:
Individual tables will be laid out for free for under 20 guests. However this will incur an additional cost if over 20 guests. OR the food can be beautifully displayed on a buffet table on a selection of tiered cake stands, glass cake stands, and gorgeous sandwich platters, where guests can help themselves
We will come back at a convenient time and collect the crockery.
Buffets:
Buffets will be laid out on trestle tables and you can choose the buffet to be displayed on either vintage crockery, white china and wooden stands and trays or our Mediterranean melamine colourful platters. All or which will be collected at a convenient time.
Waiting Staff:
For those larger events we have an amazing team who will replenish your food, pour your beverages and clear away which can be discussed when booking.
Vintage China Hire:
We can provide beautiful china hire including trios of cups, saucers, side plates. Three tiered cake stands, glass cake stands, large china platters, pretty sandwich platters, gorgeous tea pots, milk jugs, sugar bowls and tongs and all cutlery needed to make your tables look truly stunning. We will deliver crockery in boxes for you and ask that they are all washed and returned in the same boxes at your convenience.
